We have chosen our 2023 March Giving Green 10% profit share donation to go to the international Turtle Island Restoration Network (TIRN). Our heart has been with the ocean dwellers this past year (see our previous journal entries about invasive lionfish eradication and celebrating recent sea turtle nests on the Louisiana coast), and we are especially appreciative of TIRN's Gulf of Mexico programs based out of Galveston, TX.
Their local programs cover all sorts of marine life protections from sea turtle rescue, nest counts, combatting plastic debris, community outreach, and habitat conservation (in the shadows of the oil and gas industry).
With every purchase of a recycled banner bag from our website, we will donate 10% of the profit back to TIRN to help them keep up the great work. You can prep for beach time while shopping super functional and recycled products that give back to a great oceanic cause!
