We are honored that our recycled awning Flap Pack is featured in the July 2016 print issue of Outside Magazine!
Their article “Born in the USA” reads, “Across the map, companies large and small are putting out quality gear crafted stateside with pride,” and features one product per state.
Our Flap Pack – specifically, our Burnt Orange Upcycled Flap Pack – is pictured as representing our home state of Louisiana, where we make our bags by hand in NOLA.
“Patti Dunn designed tents and sleeping bags for the outdoor industry before she started crafting packs under her own label. The Flap is built for the city and swamp, using upcycled awning fabric and seatbelt-grade webbing for a water-resistant day pack with a retro Boy Scouts look.”
