Tchoup Travels: Oxford, MS

Tchoup Travels: OXFORD, MS

This past weekend I (Patti) had the pleasure of traveling to Oxford, MS for a two day pop up shop with the guys at Blue Delta Jeans Co. Free of national chain stores, Oxford is littered with independent shops and creative spirit. Here’s my short list of places I was fortunate to visit and would recommend to anyone passing through:

Square Books for browsing through shelves of local literary talent

City Grocery for food or go upstairs to the bar for drinks

Bottle Tree for breakfast (Nick Weaver recommends the handmade cinnamon rolls!)

Sardis Lake for swimming or just taking in a magnificent sunset

Blue Delta Jeans Co (of course!) for custom hand made jeans that will last you years

Amelia Presents for unique gifts and treasures

Canteen Oxford for a delicious lunch and refreshing agua fresca (This is a restaurant that pops up in the lobby or outside alley of The Lyric music venue)
